A massive tornado has struck a suburb of Oklahoma City. Details of destruction are coming in thick and fast from CNN crews, our affiliates and witnesses.
There were two things that defined the sound of The Doors… one was the languid voice and dark, brooding lyrics of Jim Morrison and the other was the soulful and intricate keyboard melodies of Ray Manzarek. And today, at the age of 74, Manzarek passed from this mortal coil to join Jim Morrison on the other side.
The deal will make the 26-year-old New Yorker very rich, even though he was we was publicly opposed, even just last year, to selling the company.

Photos are memories of the people, places and moments that mean the most to us. We have always sought to give you simple and expressive ways to bring the stories behind your photos to life. Your captions and hashtags capture the “what?” and your Photo Map answers the “where?” but until today we’ve never quite been able to answer the “who?”.
Today, we’re excited to introduce Photos of You and bring you a new way to share and discover stories on Instagram. When you upload a photo to Instagram, you’re now able to add people as easily as you add hashtags. Only you can add people to your photos, so you have control over the images you share. And it doesn’t stop at people—you can add any account on Instagram, whether it’s your best friend, favorite coffee shop or even that adorable dog you follow.
There will now be a Photos of You section on your profile. When someone adds you to a photo, you’ll receive a notification and the photo will appear in your Photos of You. Want to make sure you like the photo first? No problem: you can easily adjust your settings so nothing appears on your profile until you approve it. Before your Photos of You section is visible to other people, you’ll have until May 16th to play around and get used to the feature. Instagram for iOS version 3.5 is currently available for download in Apple’s App Store, and Instagram for Android version 3.5 is now available on Google Play.
Jeffrey John “Jeff” Hanneman was a rhythm/lead guitarist and founding member of the metal band Slayer. Influenced by punk music growing up, he influenced Slayer’s sound to create a faster and more aggressive approach. His links to punk are also evident through his placement of a “DK” symbol from the California punk band Dead Kennedys on one of his guitars. Hanneman had contributed both lyrical and musical material to every Slayer album and wrote the songs “Raining Blood”, “War Ensemble” “South of Heaven” “Seasons in the Abyss” and “Angel of Death”, which are played at almost every live Slayer show.

‘Doctor Who’ 50th: Christopher Eccleston will not be making a return for the 50th Anniversary Special
“Chris met with Steven Moffat a couple of times to talk about Steven’s plans for the Doctor Who 50th anniversary episode,” an official source said.
“After careful thought, Chris decided not to be in the episode. He wishes the team all the best.”
